 T shirts ? MovieKinky Movement Kinky Movement are an established collective of Dj's and producers from Nottingham/England. The group consists of Andy Mcloughlin, Lee Eden, Chris Grocock, John Symms and Hugh Turrel. In 1997 Kinky Movement started out hosting nights of quality underground house music in and around the Nottingham area. Kinky movement still continue with their nights, and from here their djing skills have also taken them around the globe playing across the U.K,Europe,U.S and Asia. The group have also been involved with the free party scene organising and djing with the likes of Smokescreen, DIY and Shrewd. Armed With a taste and passion for the music, they knew their next step was to start producing music for themselves. Three of the crew Andy,Eden,john have become the main producers for the outfit and since early 2004 they have released their music on some of the worlds top deep house labels. The Labels include Tango recordings, Mobile trax, Drop Music,Myna music ,Flavor recordings, Amenti music, So sound recordings. Andy and Eden Have launched their own record label Replay recordings.The first four releases, have all been a success receiving plays from the top Dj's in the business, the most recent being The digital Villains Jiffy swing e.p. They hold one of the most powerful (taylor made for house music please) sound system so if you never came across a smoke screen party then you have missed quite a lot of the uk house scene. Word Trendy Mullet Ok so we called our label TRENDY MULLET! WTF is all that about you may ask? Well this industry seems to contain so many attitudes and over inflated egos and to be fair we’ve come across a few of these in the short time we’ve been putting on nights, making tracks and playing out. There’s nothing worse than a Barry Big Bollocks who in fact isn’t a Barry Big Bollocks! We as people have neither attitude or an over inflated ego and therefore we take the same approach to our music. That’s why some of our releases may contain a little quirkiness! The occasional slice of funk, bit of a cheeky sample and at times lashing of techy sauce! It's music to make you shake your buts, we wont follow any passing fad to stay up with what the masses are buying. If we dont feel it we wont make it. Our aim is simply to put out quality tracks made to make people dance, from the deeper stuff to jackin’ right through to some proper tech house. We’ll even throw in some down tempo beats for the after hours. To date we've done this using a blend of young up and coming talent fused with some more well known players on the scence. We’re only releasing in digital format at the moment and you can find all of our releases on either stompy.com or juno download.
