This time round on Replay we're bringing you an exciting new collaboration between Mikkael, Kinky Movement and vocalist Bonnie Wrongford.Two brand new original tracks and a kinky movement remix all in one package, and we can safely say that these tracks awell and truly geared for the dancefloor.
First up is Mikkael and Bonnies 'Fonky in Mind', which is a blend of Mikkael's rocking beats, funky bass and lush chords with Bonniesamazing and all original vocals to top it off.
'Calculate' is an original track from label bosses Kinky Movement with another dazzling performance from Bonnie, the result is more of a stripped down quirky affair with a break down to die for.
Rounding things off is the Kinky Movement remix of 'Fonky in Mind', which takes more of a techy approach, bringing together punchy beats and bass to set off the more cut up vocal style whilst still keeping the trademark Kinky sound.
Already receiving plays from likes of Inland Knights, Da Sunlounge, The Littlemen and Special Interest, this is a rather special EP.

So us good chaps at Trendy Mullet have reached number 10! With a nice little number from rising underground house starlet MIKKAEL!
Mikkael is resident at the top house night Duvet Vous? in Bristol and has had a stream of releases on labels like LINGO, KOLOUR GREENHOUSE & REPLAY.
On the remix front we have TOMMY LARGO, a man who needs no introduction, Drew Tempest of THE QUIRK BURGLARS, who has shown his love fron deep click and groove house in his solo productions. Rounding off the ep we have COMBINED who is making a name for himself with his jazzy jacked up beats and rolling b lines.
Mikkael's original is a deep number with a little added jack that grooves along nicely with some spoken male vocals and some nice sax. Tommy Largo turns in a chunky slightly abstract funk version, whilct Drew Tempest takes things deep and techy with some quirky use of the vocal sample and plenty of bleeps. To round the ep off Combined provides a no messing around rolling jacked up version with some very nice brass and one hell of a bumpin bassline!

"Simply put, Mikkael has been on killin it, and he doesn't turn down the heat on the new Work Shop EP from Lingo either. BlackSwann is a smooth and funky groove of synths that displays Mikkael's signature sound that drives heads to the dance floor. The title track " The Workshop" is a jazzed out joint featuring the amazing talent of saxophonist Rachid Manou. This track is given the royal remix treatment by Marcus Aurelius bringing the smooth disco funk that is not to be slept on. This remix is already gaining major rotations from some of the top jocks like The Sound Republic and Kinky Movement to name a few in the biz. Upcoming artist act "The Dirty Rascalz" twist things up a bit on their debut remix. Switching and banging beatz for fans of techy, bumpin sounds, their remix brings boompty to the floor. The Cat Scratch bonus beatz compliments of William Alexander rounds out the EP with a nice head noddin dub for the floor. Heads don't sleep on this one!!"

Jonn Hawley brings his blend of funky chunky beats and stabs to his remix. Great track for the heads around peak hour! Next, the Quirk Burglars twist up a funky stuttery version of the track. Lots of stutters and percussion changes through out the mix. Last but not least we have Michael Days stranger remix. This track is great for pumping things up and going into a different direction. Very chunky a fat percussion in this mix, smoothed over by some dreamy guitar samples. Hope yall dig!"
